Replaced the old caps that had just a hole in the top with those suggested herein. Being the sun pad to gunnel gap is right over the trim pumps water may have got in that way. I have the trim ram rebuild kits but will empty and fill the trim motor reservoirs with Quicksilver Trim Fluid in the (short) interim to see if it clears up.

Found the number in the highest Bravo serial number listing at BAM 0W250000 & Up and listed for rough water apps. The prior standard cap 36-861597 is NLA

All 4 rams rebuilt. Trim pumps removed and when tilting for removal fluid came running out of the o-ringed connection between the pump and reservoir. I have new o-rings coming and I'll also add perfect seal but damn the single bolt connection method is hot garbage! No matter how tight I cinch it down the reservoir will rotate. Other than perfect seal how can I ensure the seal is water tight? I'm quite confident this is the point where water was introduced into the trim system when doing a heavy bilge cleaning about 1 year ago.
On another note whne bench bleeding the trim motors all 4 pickup socks were disintegrated and sludge present in the reservoirs. I have no idea how both systems were still working so well.
