Re: Just Purchased 38zr Comp
The props were not intended for that much HP. They are made for 525, 575, and 600sci Bravo applications. Not 6000RPM and 800HP so the couldn't hold up so the six blade should relieve some of that pressure.

He's not having much fun. He has a classic case of Bravo Blues. I believe he blew a drive not long after these posts, and I don't think the boat is back in the water yet. I'll find out and post it.

Re: Just Purchased 38zr Comp
The boat and I were defiantly at Mead. We were a pace boat for the Nationals. It was a blast!!!! A couple of times going around the course I though some of the supercats were going to climb aboard.
Not local to Las Vegas we drove the boat in from Dallas.

Re: Just Purchased 38zr Comp
The boat is great!!! I did have some bravo blues but have beefed up drives and billet shorties now. Also running 6 blade 34p herings going to really test it this weekend. Ran it up to 110 at Mead still had a lot of throttle left seemed a little loose compared to the 5 blades. I am going to talk to hering about taking of the diffuser and or lowering the drives a 1/2 inch. Let you know how it goes.

Re: Just Purchased 38zr Comp
I got tons of photos (over 300) and some video.
I am going to take out the 1/2 inch spacer in my drives and try that before I do anything to the props. Hering believes shortening the drives will get me back in the water. Got 112 out of it yesterday on glass water but still a little loose to top it out.
