Think you'll find this recent thread interesting has some owners on there and some great questions and counter-reactions....

http://www.donzimarine.com/ has tons of images and videos... and here's a couple from my collection.....

Like it's lineage the 27 ZR performs at it's best in rough water conditions.... have rode, drove and experienced it first-hand, would suggest you do the same.

Very nice boats.. I cam close to getting one & strongly considered having one ordered with a 525 option.. They look great and perfom likewise. However I preferd & still prefer the space of the 26zx.. That is why I bought one of the very last ones made that was a left over.. Either way they build one hell of a boat.. Jamie / Lakeside

496 Mag Ho, B1 X with a 26p got me 68 gps on fresh water @ about 2-300' above sea level with 3 people and a full tank of fuel about 94 gallons.. I think best case with low fuel & 1 person it yould probably do about 70-71..

That said I am putting together a blower package on my boat which will boost me from the 400 hp range to in the low 6's.. When I get it done I will post tome results.. Jamie / Lakeside

Sorry I forgot the other question you had.. They eat up rough water... The thing is a wave crusher for it's size.. I have had several Donzi's in the past including several different Zx's that we had either sold, tweeked, or jut ran.. You can check out my site to see some of them.. Jamie / Lakeside
