Default Water in the Cabin

Has anyone on here had trouble with standing water in the cabin floor? Everytime I wash the boat or it comes a big rain my cabin floor fills with water and it stays there until i wet/dry vac it out. Ive tried to jack the trailer all the way up and then all the way down to help it drain but no luck. any suggestions?

I believe there is another bilge pump under the step down into the cabin. I have not had this problem, but have heard of others and there was a thread over on donzi.net a few years ago about it. search there, might get you some more answers.

Yes, I had this problem.

The bilge is not connected like a normal boat, even with the drain plug pulled the forward 'box' won't drain. It's a total PITA on the open bow model because even when covered water rolls off the windshield and into the forward area, and that whole forward open bow area drains into that box.

I think the only thing a regular ZX has draining into it is the sink and the cooler in the cabin.

If I ever re-do my cockpit and bow covers I'm getting them connected instead of two pieces. that would solve the problem almost entirely.
