The didn't build many 2007's as far as I can tell. The 6.2's are great engines, my 2008 is powered the same. I have a couple complaints here and there but overall it's a great boat. If you want to hear about any oddities just post back and I'll give you some heads ups on some common issues you may run into.

I'm very curious about planing and cruise speed as well as top end.
Also... how dangerous they are when swimming around the platform. I don't want to have a kid lose a limb over a few MPH

Would love to get there, and I will let you know if/when we decide to go. You can give me some good info on where to stay etc... Are there any good events there? I dont know much about it....
