Default 28 scorpion..... What props?

I have been told that 25 mirage plus is the props to go with... And that's what I have. But I have also been told its a high 70's boat. I'm turning my 25's at 5100 rpm and running right around 73-74 GPS. On a prop slip calculator that's right at %9 slip , that's seems to good. But I'm lost as to how I can exspect to go any faster with these props? Oh and leading edges have some small nicks in them but I'm afraid to send them off mid summer unless I have to.

I messages him... He offer to sell me his boat. He messages back once asking if I bought the boat I went to look at..... That's all I have heard from him. I'm sure he is busy getting his boat ready for summer/sale.

Well beleave it or not Air marine called today and told me the the props were fine. I had them sharpen them up. I got my dash out for new gauges so I think I'm going to flip my cables on my shifters now and turn them in. I was told docking would be a bit harder and I might get some chine walk... But should gain a few MPH.
