I'm looking to pick up a Donzi Doral in need of a repower and was wondering what hp to put in it. Single engine. I don't need to go 80mph, but a nice 35-45mph cruise would be sufficient.
Thanks

Tjags,
Is the Doral you are looking at red and black ? From the Ellsworth area?
Don't give up because of a soft or wet transom! You are in a prime area to have this repaired with the sad state of the marine boat building industry in Maine you should be able to find a good fiberglass shop that can do this work affordably. If not in ME I use a shop on the Seacoast in NH that is awesome.
If the boat is the one I'm thinking of, please contact me directly at [email protected]
