I need one 5 inch spacer for a Merc 200 outboard -

Anyone got one??

I think Id just buy a jackplate . Might pick up some MPH too.

jack plate is defineatly the way to go, you can get a manual from bobs machine fairly cheap, but if your determined to use spacer, there easily made by using something like alum trailer i beam and bolt it transom then bolt motor to it, but you better have your height adjustment right

I believe he is talking about the factory 5 inch spacer to make a 25" lower into a 20" or vice versa. If so, he will also need the driveshaft, and shift shaft.

Also will need the longer water pump tube and longer studs. Go to www.Screamnfly.com
All outboards on that site.

ding, never dawned on me that was what he was asking,
i never hear of someone wanting to convert to a 25 usally the other way around,
i agree should be plenty of people on s&f to swap

I converted my 25 to 20, but may have to go back, I am hoping I dont, the prop center sits kinda high, but it is set back 10" on a jack. I should have it in the water in the next month or so to tell
