I was helping a good friend change his drive oil on a Bravo 1's. The first drive the oil came out and looked perfect with no discoloration. Then we drained the port drive oil and it came out very dark for a split second and then had the normal coloring. There was not any metal on the magnets just normal light dusting on both drives.
Is there something that he should get checked out or is this normal? Both drives shift an run fine at this point according to him.
Thanks

I have found that to be a normal thing on most drives, I think its just old oil or minor contaminates settling in the bottom, If there is no metal and the rest of the oil was clean, fill it and run it.
