Default TRS manual question

I just purchased a 30' scarab with twin TRS drives. The drives are working fine but I wanted to pickup a repair manual anyway. I found a few on the internet from clymer. My question is the manual says it covers Mercruiser Stern drives 1964-1985 and includes TR and TRS 1986-87. Were TRS drives only made for 2 years? My boat is a 1984 and I have no idea the year of the drives, I thought they were origional. Is there any way to tell? Is this the manual I need?

Please Help!

That is the manual, I had TRS drives before the Konrads. It covers it all. I believe the cover has a red and white boat on the front.

konrads drives

Cigrocket, how are the new drives doing. Does the mistress handle any different? Come on plane any easier? Your old TRS is holding up OK except of the power coating peeling off.
