Which Speedmaster will bolt up to a TRS gimbal? Are speedmaster drives more durable than trs? And which props work on speedmasters?
Thanks for the input...

The Speedmaster II is the only SSM drive that bolts to a TRS transom assembly.
They are about 2" longer than the TRS so your propshaft height will be too deep.
The TRS was actually more durable and pasts for the Speedy 2 are pretty much extinct.
The Konrad is a direct bolt-on unit. I've been running the same set for the past 4 seasons (360 hrs)

if you have the trs the only way to go is the KONRAD there 2'' shorter than the trs which should help picking up some speed and handling from what I have seen and they look kick azz
I have been in a 38ft blown sc boat with those drives and it screamed no worries about the TQ blowing the drive apart like a trs which is rated for 500hp. I think from what I read the konrad is rated for 800hp or more, MGD PUT ONE ON A SUPER BOAT Y2K WITH A MGD 960HP ITS RUNNING CLOSE TO 100. THEY LIKE IT SO MUCH THEY GOING TO PUT A PACKAGE DEAL TOGETHER AND SELL THE Y2K THERE MOTOR AND THE KONRAD. So they must be a good drive. art
