Default drive shower question for bravo one ITS

I just joined the site and im looking foward to talking to different people my question is i just got a new boat with bravo one ITS drives and im wondering if anyone has installed showers and what ones the used . Id appreciate any info thank you Joe

jamie,

thank you for getting back to me with that info. I have one other question im wondering if you even need them on those drives and also do you have to drill into the drive thank you.

I would recomend using them on any application, especially perf boats & boats with big power.. No you dont need to drill into the drive, however you do need to on some drill thru the rear of the cavitation plate to mount the pick up on some models..

We sell the Hydro Cool showers. i will verify, but I think they have a set up for the ITS with finned cap.

Email me at [email protected] and I can send you specs and pricing. I think you'll find it is a high quality, well made shower.

I put those no drill ones on my drives last year and they seem to work fine. Never got them plugged up with debris, and never noticed a speed reduction or cavitation problem.

When making your choice just remember if you alter/drill holes in the drive you void the Merc corosion warranty. The Simrek showers are the ticket, no holes, and everything I've seen backs the fact they work.
