Need advise on a vintage Pachanga??
I just found a 1970 Pachanga (well i found it last year but has taken this long to find the owner)... I know a little about the history of Pachanga...built for 3 yrs only 500 ect... This one is in OK shape...It looks like I may need to replace the seats and poss. the floor... The Gelcoat will need some buffing... It has a 350 with a merc. out drive ???... I'm looking for a winter project but this may be bigger than I want or need... I like the lines of the boat and have been told that it sounds great ...
I'm looking for any advice you guy's have... Is this boat worth restoring ?? Is it too old to restore ?? can I get parts for the lower unit ??? I don't know what type it is ??? Where do I look for the type ??? ........should I just go and buy a canoe ??
Thanks,

I had a new 1970.It should have a 327 in it the outdrive is what they called a old merc II.Has almost a 2 :1 reduction. NO parts are around any more.Just glass the transom up and put in a bravo. The boat runs great in a little ruff waterIt was a very fun boat. JOHN
