Question old imco dual ram steering plate on new drive??

I am getting a new style xr sportmaster drive for my 25 daytona. The problem is the imco dual ram steering plate doesnt match the new sweptback drive.Does anyone know of a company that makes one that matches the new sweptback style. Thanks for any help

The Imco back cap will fit the new style humpback upper case. The two extra bolt holes will need to be drilled and tapped. It doesnt look too bad on there. I have done a couple of them that way.
Imco has not addressed this and I am not sure anyone else has. We'll see if anyone responds with more info.

Hope this helps.
Dick

Umm, have you tried to call Imco, or merc with this question? That would be my first move...before going online and asking a question about a stock piece.
