Anyone with a Bravo 3
Can I ask for you to move your inner and outer props and let me know if you have the same as results...
If I slowly move my inner prop the outer prop moves almost right away, very little gear lash. If I move the outer prop the "lash" or free movement before the inner prop moves is a lot more. I have read the merc manual and don't have the little tab to measure exactly what it is. If I was to guess I would say the outer prop would push a dial indicator about .125" befor the inner prop starts to move.
Thanks in advance
Mike

that seems to be alot, If I was you I would investigate it further, make the tab that merc uses with a hose clamp and a peice of metal and get a more accurate reading, may need to disassemble and inspect gears?
