Bravo - 2000 upper fit a 1988 gimble housing

The 2000 drive has provisions for an oil reservoir bottle in the engine room, and the 88 transom does not. Rumor was there is a kit out there to update the transom assembly.

If you are swapping a B1 for a B1 it will fit, as far as I know the reservoir bottle is the only issue. The input to the drive itself should seal because of the ball and seat that is normally pushed in by the fitting on the newer transoms.
