I hope this drive actually meets the claims they have put out,it might sound like I'm against it from my post but I'm not,I'm just skeptical. From my math it looks like they drove the 1500 hp test boat about 20,000 to 25,000 miles and burned about 80,000 $ worth of gas. If this is true they have a real commitment to this drive,Smitty
At 35,000$ a drive it will be out of the reach of the majority of us but maybe the price will come down with volume!

I also read where X-power will be offering a billit gimbal as well. Most likely a mandatory item for saftey, for those running really big power.

I agree. The drive is a good idea in many ways. But gimbals can and do break many times causing serious injuries or death.
