I adjusted mine last weekend, works like new! (lucky!)

When you look at it, and disconnect the top cable, you'll see how it works. Very easy to do.

P.S. I'd put a white terry cloth towel under the nut, just in case you drop it (I didn't, but big hands, small nut = easy to drop!)
