Default sportmaster or imco shortys, the difference?

what is the difference between them, looking at 1.5 gears and 1.25 shaft, better water flow? handling? the sportmaster looks like it has a longer skeg

I have always heard the imco was faster. I use it and picked up 6mph. Shorter skeg and heard like you they were faster.

I was told sportmasters were designed and tested on cats.Did here that the imco's are better on a deep v boat and sportmasters work better on a cat.Just my 2 cents.JOHN SR
