What changes did Merc. make between a 2002 bravo1 and a 2004 bravo1 x ?

I have dug into this and it's why I have changed. The have way thicker floors in the gears. Beefier internals. Larger u joints that do not really help. They have a tower in the top to stabilize gears. I am sure a bunch of other things as well. Think of it has a helical gut gear xr.y biggest like is the thick floors.
