Syncing trim rate on twin Bravos
Baja 342, throttle trim switch does not extend or retract drives at same rate. Simultaneously pressing trim rocker switches does not make a difference. I switched cylinders from drive to drive to see if the slower(starboard) drive would follow the cylinders over to the port drive. No change. I am suspecting a weaker motor on the Starboard pump. My question is, if there is anyway to adjust flow rate to compensate? Is there an after market in line flow regulator available? I am afraid if I replace the 20+ year old starboard pump motor with new, then it would now be faster than the 20+ year old port pump motor and I would have to replace it also. Then what if they still were not in sync? I would rather just regulate one pump to match the other. Has anyone else had this issue?

Ahh, yea you will need electronic senders on the drives for this to work.
It monitors the voltage output of the sender and adjusts the trim (operates the pump) to match them up.

Oh, that would be a nightmare, I have extension boxes, and no provisions to mount electronic sensors or limiters. I am sure I could drill and tap out the bosses, fab up some wire brackets etc. but that would be a Winter project. I was kinda hoping for an easy Summer fix.
