In need of Delphi MEFI ECM 1623699
Anybody out there know where I can get one of these. Bob at OBD scanned mine and it is fried. If i can't find one at a reasonable price I will probably convert to Carb

Think you need another 9 added
Just info but being a MEFI 3 you can use anyone of these to reflash, can check with Bob, but this is my understanding
16237009 MEFI-3
16237019 MEFI-3
16236999 MEFI-3 * Merc version
12489488 MEFI-3
12489493 MEFI-3

BTW figuring Bob did say yours could not be repaired?
And you can go to a MEFI 4 with a conversion cable, but still need a reflash

Yes that is correct. 16236999 or 16237009. These are the only 2 Bob said are plug and play. I would rather not have to reflash.
Yes mine is unrepairable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would go to carb and call it done. As I mentioned before in your post -- not easy to find and in most cases can be expensive. Mefi 4 conversion too expesive anyways and really nothing to gain. Nothing wrong with a marine carb engine. the 350 mag carb and 454 carb marine engines are porb the most reliable marine engines still running.

I spent around 1300-1400 when it was all said and done. New carb intake gaskets and distributor plus labor. Now there is no second-guessing what the issues could come up. My chaparral runs great now with a 500 CFM Two barrel carburetor
