Default Vessel View??

Thinking about updating vessel view race edition to the newer VV903 8M0129544 display only. Beside cutting bigger hole, does the wiring have to be changed?

Thanks

you will take out the race view and harnesses to your j-block. then have to add a vessel view link single(or multi) engine. that will plug into your j-block then from the vessel view link a nmea cable to the display,..... in a nut shell

When Boss asked the Question I originally said he would not need anything else. After talking to him via text I told him to look under dash and see what hardware he had. Waiting to hear back from him. I just did a full install on a 25 ft walkaround fishing boat and had to buy all those components and a 15 ft blue cable to go the the motor. Boat was just repowered with a Merc that was smartcraft ready. Now has 2 Simrads hooked up via the vesselview link and NMEA 2000 network. Those pics you took are very helpful for people trying to upgrade or refit.

With the VesselViewLink as your gateway you can use some more options like ActiveTrim, SkyHook with DTS Engines.....
Some Vesselviews like the Vesselview7 and the 4 are gateswas for a Simrad Go9, Go5, Go7, NNS7, NNS9, NSS12 15.........
You can save some money if you can life without the Mercury branding on the Display top and on the startsrceen. everything else are the same Simrad GO9", same like the VV903.

I used first my Vesselview7 as my gateway for my GO9, than you buy the VesselviewLink for my Active Trim (only used for sync the drives).
