I have a 2004 27’ fever with 496mag ho. I just purchased the mobile modudle for vessel view and having trouble locating the 10 pin connection. Anyone can point me in the right direction where to look.

The 10 pin CAN connector should be on the top of the motor near the port side manifold (under the engine cover) with a yellow terminator cap on it.

So from more research I see that I have to buy the damn yellow resistor that plugs into the second plug on the mobile vessel view is it isn’t on the motor. Wtf. That just don’t make any sense.

Depends on how the boat was set up from the boat manufacture .Also Bob tail engines come with a Purple "dust cap" instead of the terminator. In that case yes you will have to buy the terminator. VV link will plug in to the 10 pin where terminator or dust cap should have been and then the yellow terminator will plug into the other end of the vv link cable. VV link cable comes with the purple dust cap and you guessed it. The cap is no longer needed.
