Gaffrig Antenna Battery
I have read several posts about this, but they were much older. I have a Gaffrig tattle tale GPS speedometer. It sits in the 9 o'clock position which indicates the antenna is not communicating with the gauge. Sounds like the batteries last about 5 years in these and then you have to send them in. I took the cap off of the antenna when I was winterizing the boat thinking I would be able to pull some sort of board out of there, but wasnt expecting what was under there and am curious if this little square is the whole thing? Not sure what else it could be. Once I get this removed, does anyone know who I send this into? the old posts from 2009 say Levorsi now, but would like to confirm.
