Re: Stereo Ideas in a 25ft Daytona
Most all are mounted on passenger side, in front of passenger seat. Alternatively inside cabin on bulkhead so that head sticks in area of guages. This varies with model year. Mine had a great set up, never use it. Might use it more next season with the price of fuel.

Mine is mounted through the back of the "glove box" facing into the box. Accessible from the glove box but protected somewhat when the door is closed.. A little awkward to reach but with the wired remote and 6 pack changer, not really an issue. The space between the front of the coolers and the bulk head was just right for some custom sub boxes too. I just lagged the boxes through the cabin floor from inside the cooler cut outs.

Two 6" components beside passenger and driver, two more beside rear seat below grab handles. Two sub boxes ahead of coolers with two more 6x9's in smaller boxes bolted to top of sub boxes. Head unit is fully exposed behind glove box because I don't really care about down there, its just storage space to me. Three 150 watt amps to power the components and the 6x9's are mounted behind interior panel on the backside of the bulkhead beside passenger and sub amp is on front side of bulk head ahead of passenger so I have access to crossover network adjustments. Not the loudest system out there but real clean and who listens to the stereo when running hard anyway.
