I had read that one. I was just wondering if Raylar thought one companys headers were any better than the other. I like the look of CMI but the Danas sure are more cost efficient.

We've done two 22 Daytonas (later model taller 22's). The last one we did ran 85 with a 496HO. That same boat would only run 79 with the stock exhaust. We were slinging a 30 pitch 4 blade labbed prop after the exhaust install.

If you install a Raylar kit you should run some form of after market exhaust. From our dyno results, there's a significant increase in power with an exhaust upgrade on a Raylar package.

If there's any questions on DMP exhaust, let me know.

If I could ever sell my other boat I was planning on buying the headers but I am getting tired of waiting. What rpms were you guys turning with that 30 pitch. I am running on the warning buzzers with the labed 28 that I have now. I was afraid the 30 might be to much.

The labbed 30 ran right at 5050-5100. That was after the exhaust install. Two guys were in the boat, roughly 35 gallons of fuel. I made one pass by myself (one guy less approx 225 lbs) and got the rev alarm beep. I ran it for a long way, fully trimmed up. It was pretty well spent at 85.
