My new to me 25 Eliminator Daytona
Well I finally did the deal yesterday. Ive been trying to sell my race car and get into a boat for this summer and finally made it happen.
This 25 was owned by the eliminator factory from 99-05 and was in hot boat 2000 as well as the eliminator factory brochure. It had a #6 drive and 1050 and went 130.7 mph
when they sold it it was replaced by a bravo 1 and 525sc combo. the 525 sc has 20ish hrs on it now since complete refresh. Hone, polish crank, valve job and resurface. Also has a Comp xtreme marine cam, XM284hr-12.

ran a 28P lab finished prop, boat ran mid 80s all day at 5500rpm so I’m thinking it would handle a 30p and drop the rpm to 5200 and may be pick up 1or2 mph.
The only thing I would do to the boat would be add a Imco shortty on the drive 1”ish shorter I know the bout would easily break the low 90s.

would the boat pickup by starting with a new 30 and having work done if needed. or could I send the 28 in for a little cup or something maybe pick up a little speed and drop rpm

I'm not sure that's why I don't know if I should go up to a 30 or have a little cup or something added to this one. Something that would pull down the Rpms 300 and hopefully gain a little mph
