It has an older bmax drive, that is 1.30 ratio with their standard length lower. Prop is a 28 Bravo 1 that was slightly worked on, and has a 29 stamped on it.
It pulls about 52 or 5300 rpm and best I have seen with it is 88 on GPS.

I see people on here claiming to be running near or over 100 MPH with Less Hp than my setup. (I'm guestimating i should be around 750-800hp)

Do I have something setup wrong?
I would try a 26 prop. I think you would want to spin the motor a little more rpm.

thanks for the input! I don't have all the engine specs, but i do know it has a hydraulic roller lifters/cam. It has a chip in the msd limited at 5800. I'd think I few hundred more rpm would still be OK and probably more into the power curve.

I'd like to try some different props, maybe a little less pitch to get more rpm. Not sure which to go with. I have access to try a 27p cutting edge. Thinking I may give that a try this weekend. From 29p to 27 may be too much rpm, but I'm interested in what it will do.

Did you ever figure out your prop to hull dimension or bump timing up?
