Oh man did you just trigger a good memory! Spectro Golden 2 stroke oil in the dirt bikes! Loved that smell! One 12oz bottle into a 5gal jug of fuel and a perfect mix every time!

What I have found with my OB boats and friends that have them.

New OB's are reliable as a boat can be. Old OB's are like any other old boat, maybe reliable, maybe not.

I had a Yamaha eat itself at 780 hours, little things keep popping up on my Opti, friends are having little chit go wrong all the time.

Well except one, he just blew his gear case into pieces this weekend.

If you could find something with a set of the new 300's on it that would be the setup for turn key. I think the guy was selling his hellcat for around 130k on face book.

The 300xs do not smoke and smell like the older 2 strokes do. Very efficient on fuel consumption as well.
