1984 31' Excalibur Project update
OK so I haven't posted in a long time.
Here's a photo of the transom as it is today.
drilled but not cut yet for the bravos
"X" dimension is at 17 inches.
Blue needs wet sand and buff (badly)

Hey Wally,
I reshot the whole back of the boat.
Shot the whole transom from the rub rail down in snowwhite awlgrip.
The red and blue stripes are imron.
Also painted the whole deck in snowwite awlgrip and reshot that blue panel above the rubrail (also just the transom).
I will be done with that fixture soon, then you are welcome to borrow it.
Here's my whitetrash spraybooth, and my scaffolding for painting the cockpit and bilge surround.

For the cockpit and bilge surround there is scaffold stretched between an 8 foot ladder outside the boat and a 6 foot ladder in the cockpit.
Climb up another 6 foot ladder, crawl on hands and knees to step ladder in bilge.
crawl down small ladder in bilge, spray bilge surround and deck around bilge.
Back on to scaffolding, crawl to cockpit.
Climb down, paint cockpit.
Crawl back out on scaffold, and down ladder.
Refill spray gun.
repeat (3 times).
With a spray mask, gloves and a tyvek suit!
