Hey grant,I think he said it was black and I know he said it had a lot of teak!Hes a big guy , the show was in the tropicana stadium in Tampa,We had a booth there with our boats on a picture board and in one of the pictures you could see a piece of one of the excalibers we have and he knew them right away!He said he was involved with production some how and I told him about this site so we will see if he shows up! Dave P.S. he said it was a dual cockpit!

By the way. I think this is one HELLUVA deal!! I looked it over a year ago, and was ready to pull the trigger, but it sold. I'm guessing the buyer wanted to trade up so now it's back. $22K for this much of a boat is rare!

Got your picture.....and the info wth it "Jerry Allen on the left and Bill Farmer on the right. This may be a 40 hawk or a one off 31. Note the crome gauge tube's". ...Thanks. If you click the picture it should show up larger.

MY 1984 31 Excalibur came with those gauge "tubes".
Mine were clear coated aluminum. I painted them white when I updated my dash.
Yes, I know the stbd tach is crooked!

I have a question, do many see boats with the windows llike this. the aft area is bulit up and padded around the engine hatches, and the window line meets that. I haven't seen another picture like it.
