I picked one up a bit over a year ago.. Haven't gotten too far on it yet, but hope to THIS year...

This is what the previous owner had to start with...

My favorite... the fiber glassed over plywood engine hatch with a BIG scoop....

When I picked it up it had been stripped and the "roller applied" red paint had mostly been sanded...

So far I've patched the hole from the thru hull water pickup, sharpened the edges of the pad & strakes, and removed any hook. Got it sanded ready for gel coat....

I have a 1982 Excalibur Hawk '40 ID# NAP07416M82H with a notched transom with 2 502 EFI's. First ower was Ives Industries in Treasure Island, FL and the 2nd owner was a man named Eddie Fields from Orlando. It is a great boat! Mr.Excal is a man named
Grant.
