Post Just boat a 1985 27 excalibur

Just got my first "go fast" boat its a 1985 27 excalibur pad 5000
for it hope I got a good deal I think I did, was told its a 502 It clearly has a deamon carb with a dart intake and arp head bolts has a velvet drive and a trs outdrive with a 25p prop It tops out at 65 on the speed on at approx 5200 rpm id like to see 70-75 mph any suggestion ? change prop? heres a few pictures.

Try a 23P Mirage or Mirage plus. should pick up couple hundred rpm. What prop 25P are you running now.

Mine with a trs and a 540 that made 630ish just touched 80 and once but always did 77/78. Then did a bravo and always ran 85. Great boat loved it...
