I have a 27ft Excalibur speedster and i want to invest in a imco short lower unit. My x dimensions right now is 19 and wondering if any one have any suggestions on the either to get the 2" lower or one 1" cause i have a feeling the 2 might be too short.

Nice speed no chime walking.
Have you checked the bottom with a straight edge and sharpened up the chimes.
That could give you something.
Maybe look for a 1/2 spacer.
Gopro camera on the transom could be of some help to see what is going on.
What color is the boat. Excalibur speedsters are great boats.

It's not, it's 3" iirc bravo is 22" input shaft to prop shaft, x of 19 = propshaft 3" below running surface

I did a few of them. One I set at 19 and one I did 19.5 . I think thats the max you want to go without a box on it.
