I know that there was a thread on here a while back about powerboat doing an article on the 1979 Chris Craft "Excalibur" 31' if anyone is interested in it I just ordered mine at powerboat mag. here is a e-mail I recieved.

Thanks for the info, i didn't know they offered that. There was also an article in the November/December 1979 Powerboat Magazine on the Excalibur Executioner (Cover Story). The executioner had the pad bottom and the notched transom.
There was some involvement with some guy, I think his name was Reggie?

this is the only place that I have found that has any info on my excalibur. it seems that any info that you can find is pretty scarce. im curious to what the performance trials were like and what power was in it compared to my stock 400's. I should be getting the mag today or tuesday.

How cool is this, i just recieved the powerboat mag with my boat on the cover. It is very interesting to read all the articles. I am also supprised at how many companies are 22 + years old.
