also started working on some mock ups for the wind screen. i want this to look factory so i decided to do it in some closed cell foam to refine it first. the final product will be bondo and chickin wire (for strength) . . . actually the final will be a bonded composite piece. this should give us a wind screen of about 6 or 8 inches high and it falls just behind the front seats without obstructing entry. i am trying to find somthing i can mock up the actuall lexan with so i can set that to.

by the way . . had this in my shop this week to. . . . its an 05 SL600 in for a hood job. picked it up from the dealership and took the looooooong way back to the shop. this thing pulls like a locomotive








and in the imortal words of Ferris Beuler . . . . "if you have the means . . i highly recomend it . . .it is so choice"

actually its for the forward controls. Sean said he liked the way those old Mightnight Lace yachts had a helm at the bow of the boat so thats what the hole in the deck is for. i just thought he would like a cup holder there
