I need four more gages on my dash and I don't have enough room. So I was thinking I could remove the compass and put a pod in its place. I was told there's a lot of prep work to install a pod. I figured to just bolt it on with a bead of silicone around it.
Am I wrong?

Tou could do it that way and it wouldnt be that big of a deal but it would look alot cleaner if it was glassed in. Glassing it in wouldn't be THAT big of a deal but certianly more involved then screwing or bolting it.

I think I'm going to start with the quick and easy then have it glassed in, in the fall. Nuts and bolts I can do but I will leave the glass part for an expert.
Thanks

If you screw it in you can remove it easier.....
