Not sure.i was told ppg and that was it.meet with the rep jan 26 so he can take a piece of the clear of the boat and send it to the lab.this is starting to be a nightmare with the boat.i should of keep the bayliner,didn't need to wax it cause it diddn't have really and shine to it at all.

I'm no rocket sciencetist, but it sounds like the clear was mixed in disproportionate ratios and the result is incomplete curing which could be retified by re-clearing???
How old is the clear?G$

It was cleared for the second time late jan. last year.not sure how long it was sitting on painters shelf.

Use a wool pad. You shouldn't get any swirling unless the gelcoat is bad. We've done several boats that swirled and had to go over the wax with Frenzy Spray Wax. It helped. Feel free to call us if you still have a problem.
