Make sure you have a cloth pad on the rubber backing

I just bought the pink Zainos Bros. wax for clear coats.... Havent used it yet but it came highly recommended by Offshoredrillin. I have used the blue Zainos on my cars and boats and it worked AMAZING!!! You might have the wrong pad... sounds like you need a finishing pad for the swirl marks.

PM Offshoredrillin....or GlassDave... they are the experts.

I used Mequires 'Swirl Remover' as the final step when I buffed my boat out.

That's what a couple people have told me.I'm gonna try it but now i have to wait for the PPG rep to do a few things.I'm gonna try it on the truck first and wait to see whats going to happen with the boat.Hope they fix it by removing all the clear and redoing it.we'll see. Thanks

I have used the black foam pad with excellent results but as always, make sur the pad is CLEAN and fairly new, inside w/o sun or dust moving around ,paint or clear is cured throughout (hopefully not Imron or AwlGrip) min 3000rpm, but don't overheat. I use a spray bottle w/ distilled water (tap water has mineral contaminants that will CUT) to keep surface cool when appropriate. The others suggest polishes that I haven't used...yet. G$
