OK...I'm jumping in here feet first.
First heres my boat:
Next..I want to jazz it up just a little, so I'm not so cookie cutter out on the water. Should I go vinyl, or should I do paint? Any benefits to either one? I don't want to get way out there, since we are only talking a 20' runabout. But I would still like to dress it up a little.
Space is at a premium thanks to the rub-rail, but I still think I could get a graphic in there.
BTW..I have my own paint shop- so painting is not a problem. It seems like it might be more work than what I need to do, though.
Heres a bike of mine that was painted by me:

Any comments or ideas would be greatly appreciated

Nice bike, looks great!
What kind of boat graphic are you considering? If I were to 'jazz it up just a little' and owned my own paint shop, I would seriously consider doing it myself as long as it still remained appealing to the masses (for ease of resale). If you're going radical, look into vinyl.

There seem to be some nice vinyl graphics places out there, one of them being Raceline Digital.
Nice stuff.

Toss some vinyls on there and have fun. If you scratch them or feel like a change it's easy. Also it will be easier to sell all white when the time comes.
Sweet bike, nice paint work

I would stick with vinyl graphics on the boat. It looks like you do beautiful work painting, I don't think you'll ever see a return on all the work you put in on it. It will most likely look better, but not be as easy as Vinly graphics.
