Default 233 hull blueprint

I'm trying to blueprint the hull on my '78 233 formula. I have found it has rocker, how much flat hull should it have ahead of the transom to run safe, with a max speed of 65-70mph.
Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

i would not use a piece of wood as a straight edge... go to a aluminum shop and get you a piece of 3" flat plate...

You can also get a 4' aluminum straight edge from Sears for approx $7 bucks. If you need 8' you could attached two of them at the ends. It would be just short of 8' and make sure you align them properly before securing.
