Re: need merc blue paint code
A couple weeks ago, I went to the paint store with this info.
General Motors code 20 1981
Bright Blue-Effect
General Motors B8110A Brt Blue.
They mixed it right up, and gave me the clear, reducer, and everything I needed. It wasn't cheap at $214.55 for a pint of the color, but it came out fantastic, and I'm no painter. The base is very easy to spray. I've heard I could have gotten a cheaper base, but it turned out great, and the color is dead on. I think it looks as good, or better than the Merc finish. This is a Performer intake I sprayed, next to an original Dart Hp500 intake.

That apears to be the same blue as on my 377 Scorpion. I bought a spary can of it from Merc dealer and it looks great. It was expensive, like $25 for a spray can.
