Monstaaa, I noticed all of the ones in the pics above were painted before. Will the same steps apply to one that was mostly carpeted? I am getting ready to do mine and have stripped the carpet out. The work looks really good!!

most builders use gelcoat in the bilge over the glass work. either way follow the steps above and you ll have no worries. just make sure you start with 80 or 100 on the 8 ". it is important to remove the top layer of gel because of its prosity, which will contaminate and therefore diminish the end results of longevity and appearance of your work.
