Default Re: No Gel-coat over epoxy....then what to use?

I'm getting ready to spray gelcoat on the deck of my boat. I have used Jon's recommendation on duratech hi gloss 50% and 50% gelcoat and sprayed the transom and the bottom of the boat. The bottom had small repairs with West Systems and has held up with no problems at all. The deck has alot more West systems in large areas? Do I need to use Duraprime? I sanded the deck with 60Grit to make sure i have a good bond. I want to do it right the first time, because i have paid people for crappy work. Jon gave me incouragement 4 years ago to spray gelcoat my self. Thanks for the help. Harry Johnson 803-242-0806
