Stringer replacement
Just finished removing the remains of the "wood" from my stringer. It was basically saturated with water. When I made the first cut with the die grinder I got sprayed. The water poured out the bottom cut.

It seems that the main problem with this boat, is that none of the wood was sealed. Including the transom which was replaced. Also, all of the drain holes are drilled too high up in the bulkheads and stringers. So the water never fully drains out.
