Default aluminum trailer

What can I spray on and hose off my aluminum trailer to clean and brighten it up without harming the decals? It has a lot of little crevices so a paste cleaner will not work. Thanks for any replies.

I usually just use one of those sanding sponges and a hose. Very little scrubbing and it shines right up. Just stay off the decals or remove them. ( I like a clean look.) Basically just a little wet sanding.

I use the EAGLE brand raw aluminum mag wheel cleaner to keep my trailer looking good. Just spray it on, let it sit and it etches the metal clean and eats away the oxidation in minutes. Then hose it off. I buy it at autozone or O'Rielly's auto parts for less than $6 a bottle. I use it 2-4 times a season and it only takes a few minutes to restore the trailer to like new. I'd be carefull not to spray it on the boat though, it might not hurt it, but I avoid getting overspray on the fiberglass anyway. I have decals and reflective tape on my trailer - doesn't seem to affect the decals at all.

Use SOS pads or Fine steel wool. Wear gloves or your hands will take a beating.
