Thanks, do you have one that you use. Lots of good information, I will poke around their some. Looking for the basic stuff and not wanting to pay through the teeth. My local store is good on somethings but the selection and prices are hit and miss.

New D/A possibly wet. Jitterbug. Papers tape. gun

what kind of supplies are you looking for? Tools or consumables (sandpaper/paint)?

PPG has a pretty good budget line called ShopLine and Omni, their basecoat/clearcoat aint bad stuff for the money. For sandpaper try Crystal Bay i believe its an offshoot of 3M also Norton has some reasonable stuff.

Ebays still the best place to pick up some nice tools at a good price if you play your cards right

Thanks. Mainly consumables and tools. I am happy with the local paint shops (PPG & Dupont), and when I need more info I can research the manufacturers website to get the information. Just mainly fishing for some better prices, I got the link to HookedonTronics From OSO for audio and video and their prices have been very good. ( Some pieces 30% less then Crutchfield)

Ebay is good idea though would you buy used air tools?

actually yea i would if the price is right and it is a quality piece like Hutchins or Dynabrade, they are all serviceable. I have a DA from both of them that i got about 18 years ago and both still run like new. i would definetly not by off brand stuff though.

Crystal Bay is about the only budget priced paper i would recommend and only the 80 to 320 grit range, beyond that (above or below) Norton is pretty good for the money. 3M stuff is definetly worth the extra money in the finish sanding grits above 1000. Typically i spend about $300 in 1200 grit and 3000 Trizak to do something in the 38 foot range, I may go through a whole box and a half of the 1200's and maybe 5 or 6 of the Trizaks. The 3000 Trizak is the HUGE HUGE HUGE time saver when buffing.
