boat painting
I was wondering if there is a web site or someware I can go to help me learn more about painting. Seams like there are allot of variables to learn and hard to learn only in words or maybe theres a traveling teacher from a paint rep? There is lots of great advise on oso but I hate to keep asking for help. Also it looks like the brand of paint realy matters.Im trying to match prior work not knowing what kind of paint ,single, clear or not let alone paint codes Any advise ? thanks Dan

There are some video's out there. I am seriously considering a vinyl boat wrap instead of a paint the next go round.

Although, I do get frustrated when I see posts where someone is asking a question that's being discussed two threads down. (not you, in general)

The canned software that this board runs on has a search function that truly blows. There is so much absolutely invaluable information buried and for the most part lost on this site, it's not even funny.

We try to boat! Had a few motor problems last season I have had it out twice last year. We went to Monroe in Bloominton both times. I am trying to paint the boat. I had a guy that said he could do it. He worked on it for 2 1/2 weeks than walked out. So I have a half sanded boat that needs painted. I can do the work just not enough time in the day. Aghhhh
