There's quite a difference!
So you did drive it with the 454/TRS package before modifying the strakes and pad?

I was just curious on what the strake/pad mods did for ride attitude. Does the boat ride flatter at high speeds? Etc.

Yes I did for a couple seasons. It was nothing like what it is today, can't even compare.

I will get someone to take photos of the attitide etc on the next test! I will also try some 3bl (Tempest and Mirage Plus) props to see what happends.

Tomas,
If you test lengthening the inner strakes, we ended up at the best length being 6" past the CG. We just just screwed and glued on wood for testing.

I did a strake extension on my 18 Donzi Classic and like the way it runs. I do not use tabs anymore and it sits on top of the chop a lot flatter at speed. Begreat to see how your project runs because I had considered extending the inside strakes on the P&D.

From what I was told, the Pantera and 24 excalibur are the same hull? Is this true and if so does it have a hook? I just bought a 24 Excalibur an am replacing the transom now and plan to blue print the bottom next. Any help would be appreciated

Where was that measured from the transom? I lenghtened mine about 2-1/2ft.

I noticed the "MC" registration numbers in previous pictures, was this boat originally
named "Trick or Treat"?
